Coyote Spirit leads home Elliott’s six to win Navan’s opener
they went a good gallop, the ground is very soft and Coyote Spirit got through it, but Jack said it was hard work. He mightn't want it that soft although the strong gallop might have suited. He had a good run in Leopardstown a couple of runs ago.

Staffordshire Knot leads home Elliott's 1-2-3 in Boyne Hurdle
we couldn't get Staffordshire Knot to finish races last year, but this year he has just turned the corner. Even looking at him, he is a different horse and I was very happy with his run. I thought it was a good performance and he had fitness on his side. He's qualified for the Pertemps in Cheltenham, so could end up somewhere like that but we'll see as there are Grade 2s and Grade 3s around Ireland where he could pick up a cheque every day.
Well-supported Westandtogether scores on handicap debut
I'm so happy with her because we've always thought it was in her, but she just needs that really testing ground.
King collects in Ten Up Chase with first runner for McManus
it was a brilliant performance and was nice to get it out of the way. He loved the ground, had the ears pricked the whole way and it looked like he could have gone around again. He's a very easy horse to ride so I just leave it up to Dan. He just likes to do his own thing but, if someone wanted to give us a lead, we would have been happy enough. He seems to be taking racing well, is improving and he jumped great. after the last day, we had this race pencilled in and I suppose we can make more plans now. He takes his racing well, so we will see how he is during the week and go from there. The timing of the Brown Advisory at Cheltenham would be good. He keeps improving, so you never know where he could end up.
Rokathir registers wide-margin win
I’m delighted and Roger (Brookhouse, owner) is here with his son Rob. They just got over this morning, so it is great. I was hoping he'd run well, but we've obviously had a quiet run there recently, so it is nice to get a winner. He really appreciated that ground and the trip. Obviously, he is going to go up a grade I'd imagine. There's the novice handicap back here in March, so that might be one option.
