Hogan follows up DRF winner at Dundalk Trainer Denis Hogan followed up Monday’s Dublin Racing Festival success with Cousin Kate today, as Tatateo (5/2f) effortlessly landed Dundalk’s Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap under jockey Joey Sheridan. In-form Hogan’s Leopardstown success was the trainer’s first Listed success since 2020 and today five-year-old Tatateo travelled strongly throughout the two-mile contest and scored pulling-up by three lengths from San Andreas . Sheridan said "I always thought the step up to two miles would suit him as the further he goes, the more you can fill him up. I was second on him up here over 1m2f and thought he would then win the 1m4f amateur race up in November, but he bumped into a well-handicapped horse in Voice Of Reason, who won again afterwards. "He has options over today’s trip and if he keeps going up in the ratings, he could be one for those nicer handicaps. He's a grand dual-purpose horse, jumps well and won well in Cork."
