Nolan enjoying his Bank Holiday weekend Paul Nolan clearly has a nice bunch of young horses for the winter and Sageborough (20/1) was another winner for the local trainer in Wexford's William Hill Each Way Extra Challenge Series 4-y-o Maiden Hurdle. Nolan had a double at the track on Sunday when landing both maiden hurdles on the card with a pair of Rules debutants, The Big Clubman and Gin Tonic.  Here, newcomer Sageborough tracked the leaders under Sean O'Keeffe and improved to lead after the last before being pushed out to beat Luker's Tipple by two and a half lengths with another Nolan inmate, Le Moulin Rouge, the same distance back in third. It's been a good Bank Holiday weekend for Nolan who watched his local club, Davidstown-Courtnacuddy, win the Wexford Intermediate Hurling title yesterday. On his runners over the last two days, he reflected: "We thought if they ran respectable that we might go back for a bumper with them, but three of them are after winning now!   "That's the thing about it, they are all into their winners of one now. There is no point in making any comments about what they might be and we know at least we have something to work on.   "We have a few more young horses to come out obviously, but that's the bulk of them now. I'm not surprised that any of these three have won, but normally they take a run over hurdles. They've jumped professionally and the lads gave them lovely rides. Hopefully they'll come on from it and they'll have to.  "This fella wasn't away on grass as the ground is only coming right now. We always thought a bit of him, he always did things very easy. He seemed straightforward last year before he was let off and he was the same this year.   "Sean (Flanagan) loved the third horse as well. He was a little bit keen early on, he is a big strong horse, whereas the winner is more of an athletic type. Sean (O'Keeffe) said that even after jumping the second it felt like he mightn't be too bad and I hope he is right.  "We always like coming here and they normally have the ground in great shape. It's a brilliant track since they went left-handed. It's just been lucky for us, so why not come here."  Additional reporting by Donal Murphy
