Galway Races 2025 | Galway Festival Dates and Racing Schedule

The Galway Races is a week-long extravaganza that makes for one of the highlights of the Irish summer season.

The Ballybrit showpiece spans the final week of July towards the August Bank Holiday weekend and runs parallel to the Glorious Goodwood Festival in Britain for five of the seven days.

The Galway Races Summer Festival takes place in 2025 from Monday 28th July through until Sunday 3rd August with seven days of action at Ballybrit boasting a mix of Flat and National Hunt racing.

Day One — Monday 28th July

Considered Ireland's largest and most exciting horse racing festival, the Galway Races draws visitors from around the world with its captivating blend of world-class racing, stylish attire, live bands, DJs, and exceptional hospitality.
