Fairyhouse Wed, 14th Jan, 2026  From The Ashes He has been consistent in fairness to him,. His last three or four runs, he’s been knocking on the door and it was good to get it. He needs three miles, obviously. He was a small bit leery, he thought about it for a few strides. I suppose he’ll mix it between hurdles and fences, he’s a good fun horse. He’s a bit quirky, even though he wants soft ground, he might travel a bit nicer on that better ground.

Punchestown Mon, 12th Jan, 2026  Shabby Hill I’d say he’ll be a nice horse when he steps up to three miles. We bought him in Goresbridge, he had won a point-to-point, and he got a few bits of injuries. That’s why he was late coming out. I’m delighted for the owner Peter Mackin, who is from Newry. His patience has paid off, thank God. He was maybe over-jumping if anything and I’d say jumping fences will maybe be his forte in time. I don’t get carried away with them but I do think he’ll make a nice three-mile chaser.
