The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Flicker Of Hope (FR), trained by Mark Fahey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident entering the home straight involving Bossofthebrownies, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed second, and The Enabler, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed third, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. J. O'Keeffe stated that he maintained his line. J. W. Kennedy stated that his mount is a very big horse and that the lay out of the bend may not have helped him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.
