Formscan By Tom Weekes - CAFE CON LECHE is quirky and has poor recent form but scored in November and has a light weight. He was so impressive here on similar ground (in March) and was then a bit disappointing over the summer. It was a fairly obvious race to come back here, and a super prize limited to four-year-olds. It’s great when it works out! I suppose he’ll have to go to one of the Festivals after that. He’s a fantastic jumper and obviously loves that ground. I've always been into horses and my father David was a good rider but probably gave up prematurely. He rode professionally and was stable jockey to Michael Hourigan at the start. I gave up riding and did a college course but being indoors wasn't very good for me!. I had another mare who won a maiden hurdle at Wexford (in 2021) and she is in foal now. All my family were there that day and they're here today as well, so it is brilliant. I'm delighted for Anthony who works for me and he claimed the horse. I recommended him for E10,000 as he was looking for a horse to ride and I thought this fella would give him plenty of fun.
