The Raceday Stewards interviewed Kevin Healy, rider of Sa Fureur, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Kevin Healy accepted he was in breach of the regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Kevin Healy was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his record in this regard (third offence) they suspended him for nine racedays
Subsequently, the Raceday Stewards received a report from IHRB Veterinary Officer accompanied with photographic evidence. Evidence was heard from Kevin Healy and IHRB Veterinary Officer. Kevin Healy accepted he was in breach of the regulation. Having considered the evidence Raceday Stewards found Kevin Healy was in breach of R.10.3 (f) (force) and in considering his record in this additional category regarding whip offences (third offence) they suspended him for a further eight racedays

Flanagan accepted he was in breach of the regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found S.W. Flanagan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his record in this regard (first offence) they suspended for two racedays
E. Walsh, rider of Catch The Beast, trained by Edward Cawley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
